About
After hitting 313 pounds and feeling desperate, I went on a Very Low Calorie Diet. Being obese is not fun and was threatening my very life.
As I’m going through this, I’m using this blog an outlet to share my experiences. Since, I am also very curious by nature so I am learning about Obesity, Very Low Calorie Diets and related subjects. I’m posting about them as well.
My goal is to get down to 185 pounds and re-gain my fitness so I can enjoy hiking and other athletic pursuits again.

Hi Tim! Just thought I’d check your blog, since you read mine. I was on Medifast years ago when it was just the chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry shakes. They also had some thin, very bland soup, but that was it. I don’t remember how much I lost (I was a senior in HS) but I remember how fast I lost it and how different it felt being close to a “normal” weight.
Anyway. Sorry to ramble. Hope you’re doing well.
D.
I’m doing well, thanks!
One of the things I like about Medifast is how quickly I’m losing the weight – it really helps to keep me motivated. I think the food has improved a bit since you were on it BUT after a couple of months of eating 5 Medifast meals per day, I’m getting a bit bored.
It’s not THAT hard though!
